Passes & Registration

Because the character of the conference calls for a certain degree of intimacy, Full Conference Passes, which include smaller sessions and meals, are limited. Since 1995, our first year, we have followed a first-come, first-served policy with regard to pass sales. Full event pass quantities are limited because of space restrictions for our breakout sessions. We appreciate that many people have attended the conference year after year, but we are also mindful of those who have not been able to purchase a Full Conference Pass in the past and who would benefit from the experience.

A limited number of Single Event Tickets are made available to the local Wood River Valley community for a selection of individual talks. They typically go on sale online via our website in late June. And again in 2018, we will be broadcasting several Pavilion talks to the Lawn, free of charge. Stay tuned for more details.

Your Full Conference Pass(es) can be picked up at our Registration Desk, located in the big white tent near the outdoor Pavilion at the Sun Valley Resort, on the first day of Conference beginning at 10:00 AM. Typically, there are sessions in the afternoon and the keynote talk takes place in the Pavilion that evening. The next two days are filled with breakout sessions and larger talks as well as continental breakfasts and picnic lunches. The program wraps up at 1:00 PM on the final day and is followed by a celebratory lunch with our guest speakers and Full Conference Pass holders.

Students, Educators, and Librarians
We make a special effort to reach out to local students, educators, and librarians and they will be admitted to Pavilion talks free of charge, as space is available and weather permitting. School ID is required.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a FULL CONFERENCE PASS and you let us know by May 15, we will be happy to send you a refund. We regret that no refunds may be issued after that date. A $35 charge will apply to canceled orders.
