SUN First Breakouts – Session #5: ABUNDANCE FOR ALL

Por:

How refreshing to read a deeply reported and even-handed analysis of the country’s difficult problems as is the case with Abundance, a probing, provocative, and ultimately hopeful book by author and podcaster DEREK THOMPSON. Co-written with New York Times columnist Ezra Klein, the book addresses the major underlying issues from health care to housing shortages and maintains that the country has simply not been building enough, a failure shared by both liberals and conservatives. In conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning financial historian LIAQUAT AHAMED, Thompson will talk about how the message of the wildly popular book has hit such a nerve and how we can overcome the entrenched barriers to progress and embrace a politics of plenty for all—not only embrace it but act on it.
