All the Ways to Join SVWC 2026
Por: SVWC
FREE EVENTS & COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING JULY 18-20
At the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference, accessibility is at the heart of our work. We are deeply committed to serving the Wood River Valley community, especially our students, teachers, librarians, and educators, and to ensuring that anyone who loves literature can find a place here.
Each year, demand far exceeds the capacity of our venues—passes sell out quickly, often within minutes. Even with our new 2026 lottery system, we were unable to accommodate everyone who hoped to join us. We know how disappointing it can be to miss out. We also recognize that the cost of a Full Conference Pass can be a meaningful investment, and for some, simply out of reach. But we never want cost—or capacity—to be a barrier to belonging.
That’s why we’ve expanded far beyond the Conference, offering a wide range of free events and community programs, additional venues, and digital experiences. From library talks and livestreaming to a live watch party and our growing media library, there are more ways than ever to engage with SVWC—both in person and online.
We believe in the power of story to connect us, challenge us, and change us, and that’s why we work to share this content as freely and widely as possible.
We look forward to sharing more information in the months ahead. We recommend signing up for our email newsletter to receive important updates and information.
Thank you being part of the SVWC community. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in July, in whatever way you’re able to join us.
