NEW Special Series Pavilion Passes!

Join us for a special series of afternoon Pavilion Talks July 19-21
ON SALE JUNE 2
Sun Valley Writers’ Conference passes have sold out almost every year since our inception. Each February, in the span of a few minutes, thousands of eager booklovers flood our website to buy passes before they sell out. We hear from disheartened would-be attendees year after year, wishing there was another way to join or more passes available.
Well… you asked, and we listened!
We are excited to introduce a brand-new offering in 2025—our Special Series Pavilion Passes! With these passes, you can join us in the Sun Valley Pavilion for a series of three afternoon Pavilion Talks each day on July 20 & 21 ($150 per day) and for one very special talk on July 19 ($50). See the lineup by visiting our Special Series Pavilion Passes page.
These passes provide part of the intimate, in-person Conference experience that so many people are hoping to have. Even without a full pass, you can still enjoy an entire afternoon of Pavilion talks—essentially a half-day—and also participate in the Q&A and author book signings after each talk. The passes are also transferrable, so you can share them with a friend.
The Special Series Pavilion Passes have replaced our single event tickets for select Pavilion talks. “Due to seating capacity in our various presentation venues, we aren’t able to offer both—we just don’t have enough space,” says Carrie Lightner, SVWC Associate Director of Operations. “And we are also bringing back the Live Watch Party at The Argyros again this year with tickets at $25 per day, so we hope people will take advantage of all the different ways to enjoy a wide range of talks at a variety of price points.”
As usual, we will also be offering free lawn talks, free livestreaming, and two free talks in partnership with The Community Library.
Special Series Pavilion Passes will go on sale June 2 from our website. We recommend subscribing to our email newsletter for important updates and information about these passes.
