LIAQUAT AHAMED’s new book, 1873: The Rothschilds, the First Great Depression and the Making of the Modern World will be published in June 2026. His previous book Lords of Finance: The Bankers Who Broke the World was awarded the 2010 Pulitzer Price, the Council on Foreign Relations Arthur Ross Gold Medal and the Financial Times Best Business Book of the Year. He is the Board Chair of the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference and lives in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
