Volunteer Program

The Sun Valley Writers’ Conference extends special thanks to the hundreds of remarkable volunteers who generously donate their time and skills to make our event possible. Volunteers are asked to set aside three days to actively volunteer and to attend one pre-conference orientation session. We thank our volunteers by inviting them to listen to conference presentations when they are not on duty.

Please know, our volunteer positions are in high demand, and there is currently a waitlist to join for 2026. Many of our volunteers have been with us for decades.
