Zanny Minton Beddoes

Few people have a wider lens on the forces reshaping the world than Zanny Minton Beddoes. As Editor-in-Chief of The Economist, she oversees one of the world’s most influential publications on global economics, politics, business, and policy. She has led The Economist since 2015, when she became the first woman to serve as editor-in-chief in the publication’s more than 180-year history. Before taking the top job, she held senior editorial roles covering economics, business, and emerging markets; earlier in her career, she worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund and as an adviser to Poland’s Minister of Finance. At SVWC Winter, Minton Beddoes brings a truly global perspective to the forces defining this moment of extraordinary economic and geopolitical uncertainty.
