Thank You for a Wonderful SVWC 2025!
By: SVWC
It takes a small village to put on the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference each year… at the highest level, we have our literary committee, board of directors, and advisors, building stellar programs, keeping us on course, and leading us into the future. Below that, we have a dedicated core staff that work year-round to keep the wheels turning, supported by hundreds of hard-working volunteers, specialists, partners, and vendors. We also wouldn’t be here without our wonderful donors… and the loyal attendees who fill the stands year after year, and the talented writers and moderators who fill our hearts and minds. It’s with the deepest gratitude and appreciation that we say thank you to our SVWC family.
“Last weekend’s conference is widely being described as the best we’ve ever put on — not bad, after 31 years — and frankly I would agree, and that is largely due to all of you,” wrote SVWC Literary Director John Burnham Schwartz. “The extraordinary success of SVWC 2025 seems to writers, donors, and attendees alike a kind of miracle of unified effort, organization, and inspiration — in short, an extended act of teamwork of the highest order, in every department and area of our organization. I wanted all of you to know that every single accolade for our conference — and they are pouring in — specifically describes a sense of sheer wonder at the warmth, thoughtfulness, empathy, good humor, and selflessness of the entire event, from donor relations to the volunteers to the impeccable production quality to James’ brilliant Writer in the World film. They all just feel so well cared for and looked after and lifted up, because they are.”
Thank you to the entire extended SVWC 2025 team!
