Experience the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference from the heart of downtown Ketchum.

Some of the most memorable conversations of the summer will be at The Argyros again this year.

From July 18–20, the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference Live Watch Party will once again bring select Conference talks to downtown Ketchum, offering readers and lifelong learners a unique way to experience one of the nation’s premier literary gatherings.

First introduced in 2024 in response to overwhelming demand, the Live Watch Party has quickly become a favorite community tradition. Hosted in The Argyros’ state-of-the-art theater, the experience features live broadcasts of select Conference sessions on the big screen, allowing attendees to engage with the same ideas, authors, and conversations taking place at the Conference in real time.

But the Watch Party is more than a livestream.

With exceptional sound and visuals, live music, refreshments, surprise guest appearances, air conditioning, and a welcoming crowd of fellow readers, The Argyros becomes its own literary gathering place. It’s a chance to spend an afternoon immersed in big ideas while sharing the experience with friends, neighbors, and visitors from across the valley.

The program is part of SVWC’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to the Conference experience. While Conference sessions often sell out months in advance, the Live Watch Party creates another way for community members to participate and connect with the authors and ideas that make Conference weekend so special.

Others praised the comfort and accessibility of the venue, with one attendee noting, “The Argyros Theatre’s incredible visual and audio capabilities make it far easier to see and hear the presenters. I found it preferable to being seated in the Pavilion.”
