Patrick Radden Keefe is a staff writer at The New Yorker and the author of three New York Times bestsellers: Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland, which received the National Book Critics Circle Award; Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty, which won the Baillie Gifford Prize for Nonfiction; and most recently Rogues: True Stories of Grifters, Killers, Rebels and Crooks, a collection of his New Yorker pieces. The recipient of a National Magazine Award and the Orwell Prize for Political Writing, Patrick is also the creator and host of the podcast “Wind of Change,” about the strange convergence of Cold War espionage and heavy metal music. He lives with his family in New York.
